Serpent Sinner is proud to present Scootergypsy, with their debut full length album; Motorcycle Mayhem. Hailing from the desolate place of Arkansas, which is pretty much devoid of a metal scene. "There's not much to do other than work and ride motorcycles" Says Jimmy, lone wolf of Scootergypsy. Indeed, after the dissolution of his previous act; Speedböozer, it seemed pretty hopeless to get another band off the ground in his current environment. Without any band mates to accompany Jimmy, the band is living proof that sometimes one man's vision can be stronger than the combined efforts of a group.
Scootergypsy is not out to reinvent the wheel, on the contrary authenticity is the aim, from the lyrics to the music. What is more authentic than sticking to what you know by combining all the qualities of the metal that you grew up with. Out of this the band forged the style of "Full Throttle Biker Rock n' Roll" A combination of the most seminal influence; Motörhead, along with various heavy metal, thrash metal and punk bands. Motorcycle Mayhem contains ten tracks of various biker filth, some tracks are more grounded in the rock n' roll tradition, others explode with an intensity only fit for disciples of speed. The bass is cranked, the solo's are like chaotic whirlwind, the drumming feels spontaneous. The mayhem is just barely kept contained within the sing along lyrics, and catchy riffs which makes the experience fly by, like shooting down the highway.
